Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 July 2026

These terms govern your use of Gist, an online software subscription operated by THINK SHARE LIMITED. By creating an account or using the workspace, you agree to them.

1. The service

Gist is a self-serve, online-only software tool that turns a described idea into a structured explainer, visual asset plans, a short-video storyboard and a downloadable Share Kit. It is a digital subscription. It does not sell physical goods and does not provide shipping.

2. Not a consultancy or professional advisory service

Gist is a tool, not a licensed consultancy. It does not provide IT, management, legal, financial, medical, tax or engineering advice, does not take on client projects, and does not offer one-to-one advisory or contracting services. All outputs are automatically generated communication aids. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and deciding how to use anything Gist produces.

3. Eligibility and minors

You must be at least 13 to use Gist. If you are between 13 and 17, you may use Gist only with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian who agrees to these terms on your behalf. By using Gist you confirm you meet these requirements.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for activity under your account. Keep your password secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use at support@thinshar.shop.

5. Subscriptions, billing and quotas

  • Paid plans are billed in USD through Stripe on a monthly or yearly cycle until cancelled.
  • Plans grant a monthly allowance of explainer projects and asset types. Quotas reset each cycle and do not roll over.
  • There are no credits, top-ups or stored balances. A subscription is access to the service, not a wallet.
  • Prices may change; we will give notice before a change affects your renewal.

6. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel anytime and keep access until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must use Gist in line with our Acceptable Use Policy, including the ban on generating disinformation, misleading claims, plagiarised or infringing content, impersonation and academic dishonesty.

8. Intellectual property and your content

You keep ownership of your inputs and, subject to the Content License, may use generated results commercially. You are responsible for ensuring your final content does not infringe third-party rights. Gist, its brand and its software remain our property.

9. AI outputs and disclaimer

Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date and are provided "as is". See the AI Disclaimer. You are responsible for verifying facts before you rely on or share any output.

10. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gist is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss arising from your reliance on generated outputs. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy. You may stop using Gist at any time.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts, without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence.
